Job summary

Meta in Fremont, CA is seeking a Technical Sourcing Manager for Network Systems to lead strategic sourcing of memory, storage, and networking technologies. You will act as the primary liaison with suppliers, shaping roadmaps and commercial terms to meet infrastructure needs.

In this role you will partner with internal Product Group executives and stakeholders to drive tech adoption, optimize total cost of ownership, and ensure supplier performance through executive reviews and ongoing alignment

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of technology and industry trends for Network Switch Systems, Network ASIC, Optical Technologies, and perform competitive analysis on relevant offerings.
• Develop, manage and refresh sourcing strategies and roadmaps for memory and storage technologies and ensure Meta is on par or leading the industry in new tech adoption.
• Develop and maintain relationships with executive management at all memory and storage suppliers. Influence supplier business models, roadmaps, and support to ensure Meta's commercial and technical requirements are met.
• Conduct and lead regular supplier business and executive reviews to monitor and improve supplier performance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal Product Group executive sponsors to facilitate their relationships

The Technical Sourcing Manager (TSM) in this role will act as the lead Point of Contact to establish relationships across our supply base, and work with internal stakeholders to drive technology adoption to unlock supply or deliver better Total Cost of Ownership. You will also provide inputs into commercial agreements, and negotiate them as needed with supplier executives.
