Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Technical Sourcer (short-term) to help scale our recruiting for engineering talent in a hybrid San Mateo setting. The role targets top candidates across engineering, C++, and product, guiding rapid growth while upholding Roblox values.

You will partner with recruiters, source via Gem and LinkedIn Recruiter, and improve processes to hire senior, niche talent in competitive markets. This is a 6–12 month engagement with in-office presence Tue–Thu.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of top of funnel technical recruiting experience (Engineering, C++, Product).
• Proven ability to manage high-volume pipelines while delivering quality results.
• Experience hiring senior and niche technical talent in competitive markets.
• A strong track record of influencing stakeholders and solving complex recruiting challenges with creativity and innovation.
• Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System to maintain candidate pipelines.
• A data-driven approach with the ability to analyze metrics, surface insights, and inform strategy.
• Startup mentality and open to thinking outside of the box.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Roblox recruiters and business leaders to understand goals and talent needs, then identify, attract, and engage top candidates.
• Proactively source and engage top talent through Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, and other platforms.
• Influence and improve processes to help the team work smarter, faster, and at scale.
• Share talent market insights with hiring managers to guide decisions on leveling, compensation, and candidate profiles.
• Mentor and coach hiring managers and interviewers, raising calibration and evaluation standards.
• Champion a best-in-class candidate experience that reflects Roblox values at every stage.
• Ensure clean pipelines, accurate data, and strong ATS hygiene.
• Use data and insights to diagnose bottlenecks and tell compelling stories to stakeholders.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to hiring leaders, bringing recruiting analytics and competitive intelligence to growth.
