Job summary

Confidential is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sourcer to build world-class engineering teams. You will partner with recruiters and leaders to understand talent needs, map markets, and drive proactive sourcing strategies across engineering, data, and cybersecurity.

Based in Austin, TX, this onsite role four days per week focuses on developing pipelines, crafting outreach, and tracking sourcing metrics to improve pipeline health and hiring outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of experience sourcing technical talent in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in advanced sourcing methodologies, Boolean search, market mapping, and talent intelligence.
• Strong understanding of technical skill sets and emerging technology trends.
• Proven ability to engage passive candidates through personalized outreach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Data-driven, with experience using sourcing metrics to improve processes.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority searches with attention to detail.
• Experience using Workday or a comparable ATS.

• Track and analyze sourcing metrics to optimize effectiveness and pipeline health.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity tracking within Workday and other recruiting tools.
• Share best practices, market insights, and innovative sourcing techniques with the Talent Acquisition team.
• Serve as a talent advisor by providing market intelligence to support hiring strategy.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted talent partner, driving proactive sourcing strategies and identifying exceptional talent across engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, program management, and other specialized technology functions.

You will collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and technology leaders to understand talent needs, map competitive markets, and develop creative approaches to engage top passive talent. Location

This position is based onsite in our Austin, TX office four days per week.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for technical roles across Engineering and Data Engineering.

• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to define target candidate profiles, calibrate talent, and refine search strategies.
• Build and maintain robust pipelines of passive and active candidates for both current and future hiring needs.
• Craft personalized outreach campaigns that effectively engage and convert top technical talent.
• Track and analyze sourcing performance metrics to optimize effectiveness, improve pipeline health, and drive hiring outcomes.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity tracking within Workday and other recruiting tools.
• Share best practices, market insights, and innovative sourcing techniques with the broader Talent Acquisition team.
• Serve as a talent advisor by providing market intelligence and recommendations to support hiring strategy and workforce planning.
