Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Manager of the Technical Solutions Engineering (TSE) team to grow and inspire a group responsible for the success of developers and our largest users integrating with Stripe's platform and products. You will define strategy, lead day-to-day operations, and drive initiatives that improve the developer experience across products and APIs.

The role requires coordinating with teams in Singapore and Japan, with US-based management.

Qualifications

Experience leading user-facing engineering teams.
Background in software development in one or more programming languages.
Ability to work with globally distributed teams and balance APAC overlap requirements.

Responsibilities

Define and deliver a comprehensive technical support experience for developers and complex users integrating Stripe.
Develop long-term vision and strategy for the Technical Solutions Engineering team and manage day-to-day operations.
Build relationships across Stripe to promote the best developer experience and align with business goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally to make Stripe’s developer experience more self-serve and impactful.
Recruit, coach, and develop engineers; foster career growth within the team.
Define, implement, and monitor key metrics ensuring sustainability and quality of developer support.
