Job summary
TE Connectivity is seeking a technically skilled support specialist in North Carolina to provide technical and commercial support to internal and external customers, interpret specifications, and develop installation instructions and data sheets.
You will collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering to drive profitability and growth, manage part numbers, and coordinate prototypes for testing.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in mechanical or electrical field required or equivalent experience.
- Experience in product management, technical support, manufacturing engineering, or technical sales preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and commercial support to internal (sales, product management, production, engineering) and external customers.
- Interpret customers' specifications to select or create the correct TE product and provide technical product support.
- Definition and systemization of customer’s top-level products.
- Develop specification and sales support materials including installation instructions and data sheets.
- Coordinate prototypes for testing with engineering and advise on feasibility and changes.
- Create installation instructions and manage part number creation in TE systems.
- Support Value Engineering (VAVE) projects to drive profitability.
- Collaborate with product managers regularly to support growth.
