Job Description
Shape the future of the Internet
As a TSA II, you'll be at the forefront of Akamai's cloud and edge computing initiatives. You will work directly with customers to architect and implement transformative solutions. You'll collaborate with sales teams, product managers, and partners to drive innovation and customer success.

As a Technical Solutions Architect II, you will be responsible for:

• Leading technical discovery and solution design for enterprise customers across cloud computing, edge technologies, and streaming platforms.
• Designing and demonstrating proof-of-concept implementations using Akamai's technology stack.
• Driving customer adoption through technical workshops, hackathons, and enablement sessions.
• Creating technical content including blogs, documentation, and reference architectures.
• Influencing the product roadmap by advocating for the customer needs and market trends.
• Providing technical leadership in specialized domains such as edge computing, distributed systems, or media streaming.
• Collaborating with qualified compute partners (QCPs) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Developing and presenting at technical conferences and customer events.

Do What You Love
To be successful in this role you will:

• 5 years experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate expertise in cloud computing platforms and architectures.
• Have a background in distributed systems and edge computing.
• Demonstrate experience with modern development practices and tools (Kubernetes/container orchestration, edge computing/CDN technologies, streaming media, distributed databases/systems).

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $91,600 - $190,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family-friendly benefits including parental leave, and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
