Job summary

Agilent Technologies in the United States is seeking a technically skilled professional to support pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, and chemical materials workflows by designing experiments and performing pre-sales sample analyses for LC solutions.

You will work with sales and after-sales teams, stay aligned with sales processes, and travel up to 40 percent to meet customer needs, helping drive adoption of Agilent LC/MS technologies while supporting strategic regional objectives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry or related field with at least 3 years of analytical experience.
• Knowledge of LC, single quadrupole MS hardware, applications, and market trends.
• Willingness to travel 30%–40% and work independently.

Job Description

• Through technical support, gain insights into laboratory workflows in pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, and chemical materials industries, identify customer needs, and uncover business opportunities;
• Independently design experiments and complete pre-sales sample analysis based on customer needs and workflows, promoting Agilent liquid chromatography solutions or developing new solutions;
• Collaborate with the sales and after-sales teams to provide technical support for liquid chromatography and single quadrupole instruments before and after sales;
• From a technical perspective, closely align with the sales process to maintain customer relationships and enhance sales win rates;
• Support and understand the company’s strategic objectives, and develop corresponding action plans based on the regional market and customer conditions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Materials, Pharmaceutical, or related fields, with at least 3 years of relevant analytical experience;
• Understanding of liquid chromatography, single quadrupole mass spectrometry hardware, applications, market development trends, and competitive information related to mainstream brands;
• Capable of working independently, with a spirit of innovation, willing to embrace challenges, and able to accept a 30%~40% travel ratio;
• Passionate about learning, self-motivated, and possess strong teamwork skills.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
