Job summary

SSC Signs is seeking a Technical Sign Designer to join our team in Lewisville, TX. You will design commercial signs, monuments, and wayfinding systems, and create permit-ready drawings and production artwork.

You will develop concepts based on customer requirements, prepare renderings and presentation materials, and coordinate with sales, production, and installation teams while ensuring compliance with local sign codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in sign design, graphic design, architectural drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, or similar programs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of sign fabrication methods and materials is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design commercial signs, monuments, channel letters, pylon signs, and wayfinding systems.
• Create permit-ready drawings and production artwork.
• Develop concepts based on customer requirements and branding standards.
• Prepare shop drawings, renderings, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with sales, project managers, production, and installation teams.
• Ensure designs comply with local sign codes and regulations.
• Revise designs based on customer and project feedback.
