Job summary

OxyChem, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is seeking an experienced Technical Service Specialist to support our Basic Chemicals business from our corporate office. You will serve as the primary technical contact for customers, provide data sheets and technical bulletins, and train sales and technical staff.

In this role you will perform site assessments, evaluate data trends, and collaborate with production, sales, and management to ensure safe handling and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5 years of Chlor-Alkali industry experience or closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of chemical principles, lab practices, and safety.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, sales, and supply chain to maintain and grow the business.
• Serve as primary technical contact with customers; respond to inquiries.
• Develop Technical Data Sheets and Technical Bulletins for portfolio products.
• Train new Sales and Technical personnel on product applications and safety.
• Perform customer site assessments and approve new ship-to locations.
