Job summary

Primoris Energy Services Corp seeks a Technical Services Manager to oversee field engineers on large-scale natural gas power generation projects. The role requires strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

You will guide project execution, ensure compliance with industry standards, and lead a team of engineers across multiple sites. Travel to client sites will be required, with per diem eligibility upon meeting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering required.
• 7–10 years of experience in technical services, construction, or engineering management in power generation (natural gas).
• Strong knowledge of gas turbines, generators, balance of plant equipment, and power plant systems.
• Familiarity with industry codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and coordinating cross‑functional projects.
• Excellent problem‑solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field engineers with resources, training, and support.
• Provide technical leadership and troubleshoot issues for project teams.
• Generate RFIs with Clients/Subcontractors and manage impacts on scope, schedule, and cost.
• Review project specifications, standards, and drawings from Clients, Subcontractors, and Fabricators.
• Plan with WorkFace planning to ensure field crews have Work Packages aligned to schedule.
• Prepare project status reports addressing schedule, progress, staffing, safety, and open issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Manage site document controller for project documentation and submittals.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to meet specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance.
