Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a Manager, Technical Services in Lawrenceville, GA. This role leads the Customer Installations Engineering team and drives project budgets, schedules, and safety standards across ASP projects.

You will provide ammonia-specific engineering expertise, represent Airgas in industry groups, and collaborate with sales on capital cost estimates while maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (B.S. min), preferably mechanical, chemical, civil, or environmental.
• PMP certification (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of engineering project management experience.
• Industrial petro-chemical experience preferred.
• Experience with ammonia a plus.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Airgas ASP Engineering Team Associates.
• Ensure ASP Project Engineers meet budgets and schedules.
• Provide ammonia engineering expertise internally and externally.
• Represent Airgas/ASP on industry groups.
• Create and obtain approval for CAPEX CARs for ASP projects.
• Work with ASP Sales to develop capital cost estimates.
• Ensure engineering documentation stored on the ASP Drive.
• Implement company safety and environmental requirements.
• Participate in Process Hazard Analysis as ammonia expert.
