Role focuses on strengthening material reliability, customer confidence, and technical capability across multiple sites, with training,Industry knowledge, and presenting technical insights to clients and teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Technical Services, or materials engineering within cement, concrete, admixtures, or related building materials.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Materials Engineering, Concrete Technology, or related field; OR 10+ years of concrete/cement quality experience.
• Strong understanding of cement chemistry, concrete performance, SCMs, admixtures, and ready‑mix operations.
• Ability to deliver formal technical presentations and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in statistical process control and technical analysis tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Title: Technical Services Manager

Location: Denver, CO or Dallas, TX or Salt Lake City, UT or Minneapolis, MN

Industry: Construction Materials / Heavy Industrial (Cement, Concrete, Aggregates, Ready‑Mix)

Salary: $145k–$185k + 18.75% Bonus + $25k Relocation Package

What You Will Do

The Technical Services Manager provides technical expertise in cement, concrete, and construction materials to internal teams and external customers. You will support product performance, quality systems, and construction best practices while partnering closely with operations, sales, and engineering. This role strengthens material reliability, customer confidence, and overall technical capability across a multi‑site industrial business.

Key Responsibilities

Product Quality & Performance

• Maintain systems ensuring cement and concrete products meet specifications and reliability standards.

• Analyze performance trends and competitive materials, presenting insights to leadership.

• Support mix design optimization, troubleshooting, and technical recommendations.

Technical Support & Customer Engagement

• Provide technical guidance to customers, engineers, architects, DOT personnel, and other specifying agencies.

• Deliver presentations on concrete characteristics, applications, and emerging technologies.

• Build strong relationships and maintain trust with key stakeholders.

Training, Standards & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct technical training for internal teams and customer groups.

• Recommend process improvements, material adjustments, and cost‑effective solutions.

• Stay current on industry innovations, blended cements, SCMs, admixtures, and low‑carbon alternatives.

Experience Needed

• 4+ years in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Technical Services, or materials engineering within cement, concrete, admixtures, or related building materials.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Materials Engineering, Concrete Technology, or related field; OR 10+ years of concrete/cement quality experience.
