Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a motivated Coordinator to support a high-throughput lab serving internal and external customers. You will coordinate filter validation, E&L requests, project quotations, and timelines while collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, and MTS Lab Scientists.

You will act as a liaison among MTS departments, communicate with pharmaceutical customers, and train to understand our product portfolio and customer base. Strong English communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in science or engineering.
  • Experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical operations is desirable.
  • 2+ years in operations, project coordination, or project management across quality, technical, administrative, financial, contractual areas.
  • Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
  • Ability to follow complex written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate filter validation and E&L requests, project quotations, timelines, and follow-through.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and MTS Lab Scientists for a high-throughput lab serving internal and external customers.
  • Serve as liaison between MTS Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, and Physical Lab departments.
  • Communicate extensively with pharmaceutical customers.
  • Develop working knowledge of MTS product portfolio and customer base through training and collaboration.
  • Interact with MTS scientists to understand job scope and team capacity.
  • Create project structures and timelines to prioritize projects and inquiries.
  • Maintain and organize lab customer correspondence, reports, and results files.
  • Monitor project progress across the team and facilitate deadlines.
  • Administer the MTS Validations email inbox and respond to routine inquiries.
  • Communicate with pharmaceutical customers via Teams, email, and voice.
  • Identify process improvement areas and develop initiatives to enhance MTS processes.

Job description

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in science or engineering
  • Experience with biotechnology / pharmaceutical operations desired
  • 2+ years operations, project coordination, or project management experience with responsibilities spanning quality, technical, administrative, financial, contractual areas, or related field
  • Strong aptitude to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-form instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent follow-up skills with customers, internal staff, and management
  • Ability to provide over-the-top customer service to internal and external clients and act in their best interest
  • Strong English-language written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe
  • Proficiency in mathematical applications such as logs, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
