Job description

Perform all functions of Audiology and Technical Services, including but not limited to: providing Audiological and technical support via telephone to Hearing Healthcare Professionals regarding software, hardware, product, and fit-related issues; conducting regional, in-office, and online customer training activities; interfacing with various inter-company departments to provide training and support for product lines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Take incoming calls to the Professional Services Call Center (70%).
  2. Assist with product/feature/software training for interdepartmental personnel (20%).
  3. Conduct local, in-office, and online customer training activities (10%).
  4. Manage special projects as assigned (5%).

Requirements include effective verbal and written English communication and presentation skills, excellent interpersonal skills with a strong team and customer orientation, and the ability to build and maintain relationships. Candidates must demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette, a mature, professional demeanor, and the ability to establish close and cooperative working relationships both inside and outside the organization, including with customers and coworkers. Attention to detail, commitment to follow-up, strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills are essential, especially in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills are also required.

Education:

  • Master's or Doctorate in Audiology and possession of (or eligibility to obtain) an Audiology License.
  • A temporary Audiology License is initially permitted for a maximum of 12 months.
  • Previous clinical and industry experience is required.
  • Significant PC experience in a MS Windows environment, along with experience with digital technology, fitting software, and NOAH.
