Job summary

Addison HVAC in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced field service engineer to support commercial and industrial HVAC controls and service. You will troubleshoot customer inquiries, supervise installations, and perform factory start-ups as needed.

The role requires training customers and staff, performing warranty service, and traveling up to 40%. Strong electronics background and ability to read manuals and drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or 3–4 years technical service experience.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, AutoCad or similar software.
• Working knowledge of diagnostic tools (V, amp probe, psychrometer, thermometer).
• Understanding of refrigeration cycle in heating and cooling.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and drawings, write reports.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide customer assistance (troubleshooting) by responding to inquiries regarding maintenance, repair and parts orders.
• Provide installation supervision and factory start-up as required of equipment.
• Provide field warranty service and/or warranty repair as required on existing installations.
• Train customers, employees and representatives in maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Other duties as they are assigned

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
