Job summary

Swagelok Southeast Texas is seeking an Associate for Technical Sales Support in Houston to assist customers and field sales with technical inquiries, prepare BOMs and support part number selections. This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to read technical drawings.

You will collaborate with Field Engineering and the Swagelok Technology Center on complex quotes and ensure timely SAP entries.

Qualifications

4-year degree or equivalent work experience in fluid systems field.
Strong written and verbal communication with customers.
Experience interacting with customers and cross-functional teams.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Knowledge of fluid system components and applications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP B1 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Support customers and field sales with technical inquiries.
Develop bills of materials from drawings and specifications.
Assist with part number selection and BOM creation in SAP.
Process quotes and orders in SAP, including timely order entry.
Maintain item master and governance of Swagelok parts.
Contribute to knowledge management and self-service resources.
Coordinate with Field Engineering and Technology Center on quotes for Level 3/Systems.
Collaborate with Swagelok Technology Center on quotes for Level 4 Assembly Solutions.
Ensure responses align with SLA and provide the best technical solutions.
