Qualifications

• 4 years Business/Technical/Marketing degree or equivalent work experience.
• Technical service experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Background in polymeric materials technology a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Service Representative for the Key Strategic Accounts.
• Respond to Technical Service inquiries and document outcomes.
• Verify stocked product options have been explored and documented for Market/Product Development.
• Provide expert product knowledge, prepare quotes, and coordinate trial orders.
• Coordinate with Leadership, New Business Development, Product Management, Sales and Sales Management as internal coordinator of identified and approved opportunities.
• Proactive follow-up with strategic customers and/or sales on lab samples and/or trials to determine level of success and if the trial will result in an order.

• Responds to Technical Service inquiries.
• Responsible to verify that stocked product options have been explored and documenting for Market and/or Product Development.
• Provides expert product knowledge on standard and custom product recommendations, prepares quotes and coordinates trial/sample orders.
• Works with Leadership, New Business Development, Product Management, Sales and Sales Management as the internal coordinator of identified and approved opportunities.
• Proactive project follow-up with strategic customers and/or sales on lab samples and/or trials to determine level of success and if the trial will result in an order.

Requirements

• 4 years Business/Technical/Marketing Degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous Technical Service experience in manufacturing, preferred.
• Background in polymeric materials technology, a plus.
• Use of ERP systems, Oracle preferred, Salesforce and understanding tweak processes.
• Travel up to 10% of the time
