Job description

Huish Outdoors is passionate about dive and watersports. We develop products that fuel the human spirit for adventure, keep people active, exploring, and enjoying our world's aquatic environments. We are a team of outdoor enthusiasts who embrace and drive change.

We are looking for a Technical Service and Care Representative to work out of our Salt Lake City, UT office. The role involves handling order entry and assisting with product returns and warranty claims. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working with customers and fluency in English are essential; dive experience is a plus but not required.

The Technical Service and Care Representative will provide technical support and resolve customer issues over the phone and email. Responsibilities include diagnosing questions, guiding users through solutions, resolving dive computer issues, uninstalling/reinstalling software, verifying hardware/software setup, and troubleshooting application menus. Clear and professional communication of technical solutions is vital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process orders received via phone, email, or fax accurately and efficiently
  • Utilize company sales tools such as NetSuite, Excel, MS Word, and Gmail
  • Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from retail partners and end-users
  • Assess and process returns and warranty claims following company policies
  • Provide technical information and product knowledge across multiple product lines
  • Maintain accurate and current customer records
  • Develop and sustain professional relationships internally and externally
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
  • Intermediate knowledge of scuba diving equipment, including dive computers, BCDs, regulators, valves, drysuits, wetsuits, gauges, masks, snorkels, and fins
  • At least three (3) years of customer service experience
  • Ability and willingness to handle frequent phone and email communication
  • Physically capable of lifting 30lb boxes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, NetSuite, and Excel
