Job summary

TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company is seeking a Service Application Specialist to support our growing aftermarket service business. You will review customer requirements, develop repair quotations, coordinate with Engineering and Operations, and serve as a trusted resource for customers and Field Sales throughout the quoting process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years in industrial products, customer service, applications, quotations, or technical sales.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and service requirements to develop repair scopes of work.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates by evaluating labor, materials, vendor proposals, and engineering requirements.
• Develop service quotations while following pricing guidelines and profitability goals.
• Negotiate repair proposals, pricing, terms, and conditions with customers.
• Interpret purchase orders and ensure all requirements are captured.
• Provide exceptional customer support throughout the quotation process.
• Partner with Service Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Field Sales to develop repair solutions.
• Support Field Sales as the internal technical and commercial resource for service opportunities.
• Maintain quotation files, negotiation records, cost estimates, and proposals.
• Monitor pricing trends and provide feedback to support strategy.
• Build relationships by understanding customer needs and service requirements.
• Participate in meetings, facility visits, and occasional travel.
• Prepare reports and updates on quoting activity and opportunities.
• Continue developing knowledge of electric motor repair processes and TECO-Westinghouse offerings.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and all company procedures.
