Job summary

Advatix Inc. is seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Technical Service Manager to support service coordination, customer service, and field service operations in Wheeling, IL.

The role links customers, service companies, equipment dealers, technicians, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of service requests. The ideal candidate will have a technical education background, hands-on experience with electrical equipment, and strong administrative and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Trade school education or equivalent hands-on technical experience required.
• Hands-on experience with electrical appliances, equipment, or related technical systems.
• Minimum 2+ years of administrative, customer service, or service coordination experience.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot technical issues with end users and service technicians.
• Experience in a customer-facing or service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment startups, warranty calls, and service requests with accurate status tracking.
• Coordinate and track service activities for timely follow-up and resolution.
• Train service companies and equipment dealers on relevant equipment and service processes.
• Maintain accurate service documentation throughout the service lifecycle.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers regarding inquiries, scheduling, status updates, and follow-ups.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues with end users and technicians, and coordinate with internal teams.
• Track service activity through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Service Hub.
• Identify recurring issues and support process improvements.
