Lockheed Martin invites applications for a technical engineering role at Fort Bragg, NC. The engineer will advise on installation, adaptation, and configuration of government and customer products, and will calibrate and service a wide range of equipment used by Special Operations forces.

Requirements include a BS in Mechanical Engineering (or 5+ years in related field) and the ability to obtain/retain a SECRET clearance. Lifting 50lbs is required; TS/SCI and related credentials are beneficial.

Maintain, Service, Repair, and Calibrate over 3,000 pieces of unique commercial off the shelf and military equipment that is purpose built for U.S. Army Special Operations.

This includes a wide-range of equipment that requires in-depth knowledge of Flame Spectroscopy, ION Mobility Spectrometry, Light Sensitation, and Detection Equipment that monitors neutron flux levels.

This position supports our Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services. Full-Time Salary Range: $65200.00 - $121200.00
