An established industry player is seeking a Technical Service Engineer Consultant to lead the resolution of complex product issues. Position Overview: As a Technical Service Engineer Consultant, you will be responsible for managing complex product issues to resolution as the project lead and assist in identifying root cause and corrective actions for trucks with warranty claims, technical case files, and other early warning indicators. This is an engineering and technical role working with our dealer network to understand repair issues arising within our customers’ vehicles, working with engineering to identify a solution for trucks in both post and pre-production to ensure maximum uptime for our customers. Potential areas of responsibility will be the vehicle powertrain and/or vehicle electrical architecture (to include diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other subsystems within the chassis) and may get exposure to other systems as well.

Degree in Engineering or Automotive Technology is strongly preferred. Excellent presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills. Approachable with excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse teams. Able to operate with a minimum of supervision and with an ownership mindset. Familiarity with VisMockUp, CAD, Teamcenter or other engineering drawing systems. Navistar/International Service Information System. Statistical Problem Solving/Six Sigma Certification. Global 8D ASE Certification a plus. General PC proficiency required (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to multitask and manage quickly changing objectives and priorities. Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude. Preferred Medium and/or Heavy-Duty truck experience. Microsoft Teams and Power BI experience helpful. Data processing experience. Understanding of basic EV system architecture and components.
