Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Service Ambassador to support a top industrial technology client. You will be the face of the company at customer warehouse and fulfillment facilities, driving equipment performance and reliability of battery-powered mobile workstations.

In this field-based role, you will diagnose issues, perform maintenance and hardware upgrades, train end users, and advise operations teams on lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical field service, maintenance, or equipment support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair experience with mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment.
• Hands-on break/fix support, hardware repair, and equipment upgrade experience.
• Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience training end users and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to travel 55-75% throughout assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site ambassador supporting customers at warehouse and fulfillment facilities.
• Conduct equipment evaluations and performance assessments.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair battery-powered mobile workstation equipment.
• Perform maintenance, hardware upgrades, and break/fix repairs.
• Deliver hands-on customer and end-user training.
• Educate customers on equipment best practices, safety, and lifecycle management.
• Build relationships with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and equipment optimization.
• Support customer satisfaction initiatives and account management activities.
• Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to customer sites.

Must-Haves:

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform physical installation and maintenance work
