NAPA is seeking a Tools & Equipment Technical Sales Specialist to generate and grow sales through NAPA stores and end user accounts within the Austin area. You will coordinate market-driving programs, build strong dealer and customer relationships, and drive revenue through targeted product offerings.

The role requires strategic thinking, hands-on sales leadership, and the ability to work with store decision makers to expand business volume. Occasional travel and strong CRM usage are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; advanced degree or certs preferred.
  • Proven sales management experience in automotive aftermarket or tools and equipment industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with end user accounts and store decision makers.
  • Drive market share by implementing programs and products in territory.
  • Lead the full sales cycle: lead gen, calls, proposals, ordering, billing adjustments.
  • Collaborate with store teams and distribution center to provide solutions.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time and manage time with product knowledge and customer relationships.
  • Maintain and advance knowledge of product offerings, education, programs, warranties, and rebates.

Tools & Equipment Technical Sales SpecialistJob SummaryThe Tools and Equipment Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for generating and increasing Tools and Equipment sales through NAPA stores and the end user accounts they service.
