Job description

**Technical Sales Representative – New England**

Territory: New England (ME, VT, NH, MA, RI)

Reports to: Director of Sales

Travel requirements: 2-3 days per week, with candidates ideally residing in Boston, MA or nearby.

The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience within an established distribution network and be able to travel throughout the territory as needed.

Responsibilities:
  1. Cultivate a strong distributor network and customer base to achieve broad product distribution.
  2. Conduct 4-6 customer visits daily, including distributors, PMPs, and municipalities.
  3. Introduce new products and provide technical training to distributor sales reps and operators.
  4. Collaborate with field service professionals for inspections and troubleshooting.
  5. Present at industry meetings, conferences, and distributor events.
  6. Attend trade shows relevant to the industry.
  7. Develop and execute an annual business plan.
  8. Maintain regular communication with your supervisor.
  9. Travel efficiently within the territory.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or marketing.
  2. Experience in sales within a distribution network is preferred.
  3. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  4. Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic.
  5. Proficiency in PowerPoint/Keynote and customer database systems.
  6. Public speaking skills.
  7. Valid driver’s license with a good record.
  8. Availability to travel 2-3 days weekly.
