Job summary

Applied Membranes, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to turn customer water problems into engineered solutions.

You will handle inbound leads, win new accounts, and cultivate existing relationships by collaborating with sales, customer service and engineering teams to support customers. Responsibilities include qualifying leads, building quotes, and closing orders and long-term supply agreements, with travel up to 10% to trade shows and customer sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in technical sales in water treatment, industrial products or manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical specs and water analyses and explain solutions clearly.
• Track record of meeting or beating sales targets and growing revenue.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource for customers, answering questions and providing sales support for components and engineered projects.
• Qualify inbound leads and convert them into orders via website, trade shows, email, phone and chat.
• Prospect and win new customers in industrial and commercial markets, expanding into new segments.
• Build quotations, proposals and sales presentations with engineering, then follow up to close orders and long-term supply agreements.
• Negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines.
• Drive revenue growth in existing accounts through reorders and cross-selling membranes, systems, consumables.
• Coordinate with engineering, production and purchasing to deliver on time and resolve issues.
• Keep accurate records of opportunities, quotes and activity in CRM.
