Job summary

Ecolab is seeking Technical Sales Interns for a summer 2027 internship in Food & Beverage. You will work with Account Managers in plant environments to support sanitation, food safety and quality improvements while learning to develop client relationships.

The program offers hands-on project work, leadership exposure, and the potential for a full-time role after graduation, with relocation support and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in dairy/food/agricultural science, engineering, or chemistry with anticipated graduation Dec 2027 or May/Jun 2028
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role
• 11-week internship program, starting on Tuesday, June 1st
• Position requires a valid US Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record

Responsibilities

• Work with Account Managers in customer plant environments focusing on food safety and quality.
• Learn daily responsibilities of an Ecolab Account Manager and complete value-added projects.
• Cultivate relationships with plant staff through professional demeanor and interpersonal skills.
• Repair, adjust, test and install dispensing systems and CIP equipment.
• Monitor product performance and adjust concentration levels to improve operations.
• Provide industry expertise and training on plant sanitation and food safety.
• Introduce new product offerings to existing accounts to disinfect surfaces.
• Learn how to prospect to generate new business.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, or chemistry
