JAKTOOL is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer, with experience selling to US Government customers, who will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with customers, and promoting our engineering services and solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and qualify potential customers through market research, networking, trade show attendance and outreach efforts (cold calling, email outreach, social media, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to develop strategies for targeting key accounts and industries.
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase our services and solutions to prospective customers.
  • Tailor presentations and proposals to address the specific requirements of each customer.
  • Articulate the value proposition of our services and solutions to demonstrate their benefits and advantages.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on market analysis and customer feedback.
  • Travel to trade shows and other offsite meetings as required
  • Other related duties

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years experience is outside sales in an engineering or related professional services field
  • Experience with B2G sales
  • Proven track record of success in technical sales or business development, preferably in the engineering services industry
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex engineering concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and business development
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently to achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM Software and Microsoft Office Suite
