Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support our OneLift Pump Station product. The role builds relationships with distributors and customers, provides design and technical data, and tracks projects from concept to completion. This is an office-based position in Avon, CT with travel.

Candidates should have 2+ years' experience in working with distributors or civil engineers, strong communication skills, and the ability to review specifications; travel ~35%.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience working with distributors, civil engineers, construction operations, or related fields.
• Ability to review and understand civil construction specifications/drawings.
• A basic understanding of stormwater management and regulations.
• Coachable, enthusiastic, assertive, and technically inclined.
• Highly motivated to achieve personal and team success.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety-first culture and core values.
• Build and maintain distributor/customer relationships.
• Support OneLift Pump Station specifications for design teams.
• Prepare take-offs and quotes ahead of due date.
• Educate engineers on OneLift pump stations benefits.
• Analyze projects to meet specifications and regs.
• Monitor stormwater regulations and policy changes.
• Identify opportunities to expand OneLift usage.
• Coordinate with internal teams to fulfil requests.
• Manage CRM data in Salesforce.
• Gain expertise in stormwater/wastewater management.
• Travel approximately 35%.
