Job summary

GreySource in Minnesota is seeking an entry-level Technical Sales Representative to manage an existing client base and develop new accounts for electrical and mechanical components. You’ll receive one-on-one training with seasoned sales leaders and collaborate with engineering, marketing, and regional management to drive opportunities.

Occasional Midwest travel and a performance-based compensation plan are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business or equivalent.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and competitive spirit.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Aptitude to master highly technical products.
• Ability to work well in a team and as an individual contributor.
• Experience or knowledge in electrical/electromechanical/mechanical/electronic products.

Responsibilities

• Day in the Life: participate in training and mentoring with the sales team on market products.
• Coordinate new business opportunities with engineering, marketing and management.
• Act as main contact to key relationships at accounts and manage existing base.
• Develop new accounts while growing presence in the region and mid-Central offices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and distributors to align strategy and objectives.
