Puffer-Sweiven is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for Final Control Valves in Stafford, TX. You will collaborate with Account Managers to craft proposals, define deliverables, and advise on technical solutions for customers.

Responsibilities include product selection, pricing, and processing requests from sales queues, using Salesforce and Emerson software to manage processes and interfacing with manufacturers, customers, and the sales team.

Qualifications

• BS/BA technical degree preferred or combination of applicable education and experience.
• Advanced technical knowledge/understanding of Flow Measurement, Industrial Automation and Instrumentation industry.
• 1-3 years as an inside sales representative or equivalent in a technical sales environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of PC proficiency including MS Office, CRM and ERP internal business systems.

Responsabilités

• Works with the Account Managers to develop proposals, define a scope of deliverables, assist with developing a project strategy and advise on technical elements of solutions implementation.
• Ensures the proper selection of products and services provided by the Company and the principals represented.
• Applies product and application knowledge to solve customer problems.
• Performs pricing, quoting, and processing of customers’ requests from sales queues.
• Utilize tools, such as Salesforce and Emerson software, to manage business processes.
• Participates in the interface with manufacturers, customers, and sales team to provide expertise and direction on proper selection and applications.
• Supports the sales team direction on customer expectations, pricing strategy, delivery of and overall project completion.
• Understands internal goals and how to positively impact sales team’s objectives.
• Collaborates with cross-team sales groups as needed to obtain project information and determine the best solution to serve our customer.
• Educates customers on the full benefit of products, services, and technology and on the proper application of solutions.
• Seeks to broaden scope of supply to cover as many Puffer-Sweiven products as possible.
• Participates in internal training programs and helps educate and broaden the sales team’s general application knowledge.
