Job summary

Puffer-Sweiven, an Emerson Impact Partner, seeks a Sales Assistant in Houston, TX to work on proposals with account managers and help define deliverables. You will apply technical knowledge to select products and assist with pricing, quotes, and order processing, using CRM tools and ERP systems.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in technical sales, strong communication, and familiarity with MS Office and sales software.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years as an inside sales representative or equivalent in a technical sales environment.
• BS/BA in Engineering or Supply Chain preferred or combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals with Account Managers and define deliverables.
• Assist with project strategy and advise on technical elements of solutions.
• Price, quote, and process customer requests from sales queues.
• Use Salesforce and Emerson software to manage business processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturers, customers, and sales teams for best solutions.
