Davalyn Corporation seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to support customers across Orange County and Southern Los Angeles County, specializing in CNC milling, turning, and precision machining. You will advise on carbide tooling, optimize cutting parameters, and collaborate with shops and engineers to boost productivity.

The role combines hands-on machining knowledge with sales and applications engineering, with travel to customer sites and ongoing training for distributors and end users.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC machining experience and tool knowledge.
• Experience in technical sales or applications engineering is valued.
• Familiarity with carbide cutting tools and high-precision manufacturing.
• Ability to evaluate tooling and machining processes and communicate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales and applications support for CNC milling, turning, drilling, and precision machining.
• Develop relationships with aerospace, defense, medical device, and industrial customers within the territory.
• Recommend carbide cutting tool solutions based on machining requirements and materials.
• Support machining applications involving aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and high-temperature alloys.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, CNC programmers, machinists, and production teams to improve performance.
• Help customers optimize cutting parameters, cycle times, tool life, and productivity.
• Conduct on-site visits, tooling evaluations, and machining performance assessments.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with key accounts.
• Train distributors and end users on product usage and applications.
• Travel regularly throughout Orange County and Southern Los Angeles County.
