Technical Sales Engineer - Aerospace & Defense

Our Swiss-designed sensors are at the forefront of electrified drive technology, industrial automation, and emission reduction.

About the Role: As a key team member, you will drive sales targets for Aerospace, Defense, and Test & Measurement products in your territory, specifically in the New England region and Canada. This is a remote position, but you must reside in the New England area. Your main responsibilities include building relationships, providing expert advice, and selling innovative solutions that impact the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or surpass sales targets and KPIs within your territory.
  • Develop sales strategies with the Sales Manager and Business Development team.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Travel regularly within your territory to meet clients.
  • Manage territory goals independently while working remotely.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales and Application Engineering teams.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals; maintain CRM data accurately.
  • Participate in trade shows and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Deliver technical presentations to customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering, or applied physics, with 10+ years in technical sales.
  • Preferred experience in the aerospace market.
  • Experience in sensor or signal conditioning/DAQ sales.
  • Strong technical knowledge of sensors, electronics, and software.
  • Proven ability to develop sales strategies and expand customer networks.
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office tools.
  • US Citizenship; able to lift 50 pounds and travel 50% of the time.
