Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Release Manager for Retail and Marcom Engineering in Sunnyvale, CA.

You will plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end web releases, ensuring readiness, deployment, and post-release validation across frontend and backend systems. You will collaborate with engineering, DevOps, SRE, QA, and product teams to improve release reliability, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and streamline deployment processes for global digital experiences.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years experience in release coordination and DevOps for large-scale web platforms
• Understanding of release pipelines, branching, CI/CD automation, configuration management, testing, or risk mitigation.
• Experience working with Git workflows, CMS systems, and frontend deployment tooling (e.g., Next.js, Node.js, HTML/CSS).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end web releases, owning scheduling, readiness, deployment, and post-release validation.
• Coordinate release readiness across frontend codebases, CMS platforms, backend services, and infrastructure dependencies.
• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers while driving timely issue resolution.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, SRE, QA, and product partners to improve release reliability and operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement by refining release processes, documentation, and operational best practices.
