Job summary

d-Matrix in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Staff Technical Recruiter to own full life-cycle recruiting across hardware and software engineering roles. You will partner with hiring managers to craft sourcing strategies, move candidates through interview stages, and drive a data-driven approach with ATS dashboards.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of technical recruiting experience, comfort sourcing deep-tech talent, and a proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full life-cycle technical recruiting experience, including closing senior and staff-level candidates.
• Experience recruiting across multiple technical verticals, not just a single specialty.
• Expert fluency with an ATS and with building your own reporting and dashboards.
• Proven ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with a track record of building trust with hiring managers and candidates alike.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine sourcing strategies for hard-to-find deep-tech talent, and drive adoption of AI-powered sourcing and screening tools across the team.
• Build genuine, trust-based relationships with hiring managers and candidates, acting as a strategic partner rather than an order-taker.
• Keep ATS data clean and build reporting and dashboards that give leadership a real-time, data-driven view of the pipeline.
• Operate autonomously, bringing structure to ambiguous searches without waiting to be told how.

The Role: Staff Technical Recruiter

In this role you will be responsible for managing candidates through all stages of the interview/hiring process. The ideal candidate will have proven experience sourcing, recruiting and partnering with business stakeholders to hire top talent for d-Matrix.
