Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter & HR Generalist to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a hybrid Talent Acquisition and Human Resources role requiring a professional who is equally comfortable leading full-cycle recruiting efforts and providing hands‑on HR Generalist support. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record recruiting technical, skilled‑trade, manufacturing, construction, field service, and operational talent while also serving as a trusted HR partner to leaders and employees. This individual must be able to balance recruiting priorities with employee relations, performance management, coaching, compliance, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee engagement responsibilities. This role requires a proactive, business‑minded professional who thrives in fast‑paced operational environments and can effectively support organizational growth through both talent acquisition and strategic HR partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions across manufacturing, field service, operations, and technical functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, define qualifications, and create effective sourcing plans.
- Build pipelines of skilled trades, technicians, supervisors, project personnel, and operational leaders through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and industry partnerships.
- Screen and evaluate candidates through interviews, assessments, and qualification reviews.
- Manage offers, negotiations, background checks, drug screens, onboarding, and pre‑employment processes.
- Analyze recruiting metrics and labor market trends to improve hiring effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with staffing partners, workforce development organizations, trade schools, and industry associations.
Human Resources Generalist
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to leaders and employees across operational and field environments.
- Support employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, policy interpretation, and employee coaching.
- Partner with managers on performance management, talent development, retention, and workforce planning.
- Assist with onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, and organizational development efforts.
- Provide guidance on employment law compliance, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Support leave administration, accommodations, workplace concerns, and other HR‑related matters as needed.
- Coach leaders through employee challenges while balancing business objectives and employee experience.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in both Talent Acquisition and Human Resources.
- Demonstrated success recruiting for manufacturing, construction, field service, industrial, engineering, skilled trades, or technical positions.
- Experience handling employee relations matters, investigations, performance management, and manager coaching.
- Strong sourcing experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and passive candidate outreach.
- Experience partnering directly with operational leaders and business stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms.
- Strong communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work onsite in Salt Lake City, UT.

This is not a recruiting‑only position. Candidates must demonstrate meaningful experience in both Talent Acquisition and HR Generalist functions and be comfortable serving as a strategic partner to leaders while also executing day‑to‑day recruiting activities.
