Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support hiring across engineering and technology teams. The role focuses on identifying, engaging, and hiring software, hardware, mechanical, electrical, embedded systems, DevOps engineers, and other tech professionals in Scotts Valley, CA.

You will operate in a fast-paced environment, build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, and manage multiple open requisitions while ensuring a positive candidate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years recruiting experience focused on engineering/tech.
• Proven success sourcing and recruiting passive technical talent.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, and sourcing tools.
• Ability to understand technical job requirements and communicate with engineers.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open requisitions and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for engineering and technical positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, technical requirements, and workforce planning goals.
• Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, professional organizations, and other channels.
• Conduct candidate screenings to evaluate technical experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Coordinate interviews and guide candidates through the hiring process.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience from outreach to offer.
• Provide hiring managers with market insights, candidate availability trends, and compensation guidance.
• Build relationships within engineering communities to expand talent networks.
• Maintain recruiting activity and candidate records within the ATS.
• Ensure recruiting practices comply with employment laws and company policies.
