Job summary

Hyundai Motor Company in Irvine, CA, seeks an experienced Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment across our North American R&D organization. You will partner with hiring managers and HR to attract top talent, drive candidate experience, and build strong pipelines for current and future needs.

The role emphasizes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers, with a focus on technical, engineering, and corporate positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field; 8+ years full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, automotive, manufacturing, or corporate positions preferred.
• Experience supporting multiple requisitions and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating offers, and onboarding support.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, position requirements, and recruitment priorities.
• Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing strategies including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, networking, and industry events.
• Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Prepare and extend employment offers in partnership with HR leadership and hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the ATS.
• Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
• Participate in employer branding initiatives and recruiting events, including career fairs, university partnerships, and networking opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and external talent communities to support long-term talent acquisition strategies.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify opportunities for improving recruiting processes and hiring effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and recruiting procedures.
• Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates regarding candidate pipelines, hiring progress, and market trends.
• Support special projects and broader Human Resources initiatives as assigned.
