Job summary

Hunter Truck is seeking a Technical Recruiter to build our technical talent pipeline across manufacturing and service teams in the Northeast. You will design sourcing strategies, screen candidates, and partner with hiring managers to fill skilled technician and diesel technician roles.

The role reports to the VP of HR, requires strong interviewing skills, relationship building, and a customer-focused approach. Occasional travel may be required to observe career fairs and partner schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of recruiting experience in a related industry preferred.
• Solid knowledge of and/or background in the medium/heavy duty industry.
• Strong negotiation and marketing skills.
• Professional verbal/written communication.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong relationship-building abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills, including handling multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Conducts strategy meetings with field hiring managers to identify needs and provide regular updates.
• Attends technical career fairs and industry outreach activities as Hunter Truck recruiting representative.
• Recruits and selects qualified personnel for skilled technical openings (e.g., Diesel Technicians).
• Sources, screens and refers technical candidates to hiring managers.
• Maintains relationships with candidates and managers, providing ongoing feedback.
