Job summary

Job Summary

VSolvit LLC is seeking an experienced high volume Technical Recruiter with prior success recruiting for technical and federal government contracting (GovCon) roles to join our Talent Management Team. This role is responsible for full lifecycle recruiting of cleared and non-cleared technical professionals.

The Technical Recruiter will partner closely with Hiring Managers and leadership team to source, screen, and deliver highly qualified candidates across cybersecurity, cloud, software development, GIS, data engineering, systems engineering, and related technical domains. The ideal candidate understands federal labor categories, security clearance requirements, technical skill stacks, and GovCon environments.

This role requires strong sourcing capability, technical literacy, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Source and identify qualified candidates across various roles by leveraging recruitment platforms such as Clearance Jobs, Monster, LinkedIn, and others
  • Review resumes and conduct initial screenings to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for the role
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and timely process
  • Compose and send recruitment correspondence, including emails and messages on professional networks and social media
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and track progress through the recruitment process using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent sourcing and recruitment
Basic Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-7 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of technical recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting within a federal government contracting environment
  • Experience sourcing candidates with active security clearances
  • Strong understanding of technical terminology, including:
    • Programming languages (Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, SQL)
    • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GovCloud)
    • Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, RMF, STIGs)
    • DevOps/CI/CD concepts
    • Systems and network engineering fundamentals
  • Experience recruiting against federal labor categories and contract requirements
  • Proficiency using ATS systems and sourcing tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail in resume qualification review
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DoD, DHS, Navy, Army, or other federal agencies
  • Knowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA) vs. exempt labor categories
  • Experience using JIRA or similar workflow management systems
  • Metrics-driven recruiting approach with cycle-time reduction focus
  • Prior experience in a fast-growth GovCon organization
