Job summary

Optomi invites recent graduates to join the Acadomi program in Atlanta, launching January 2027. You’ll start full-time with seasoned recruiters and account executives, gaining hands-on training and mentorship to build a foundation in IT recruiting and account management.

After completion, you’ll enter the market in Atlanta, Charlotte, DC, or Dallas. During Acadomi, you’ll train in sourcing, interviewing, and candidate submissions, then progress toward a Technical Recruiter role while benefiting

Responsibilities

• Participate in an informative 8 week training program with experienced Recruiters and Account Executives to boost your career in IT recruiting.
• Work closely with a Team Lead to perfect your skills in sourcing, interviewing, and submitting candidates.
• Gain experience cold calling, interacting and prospecting new business.
• Gain a foundation for Optomi’s recruiting and sales process to eventually move into a Technical Recruiter role.
• Meet minimum weekly metrics including phone interviews/submittals to open jobs.

Through the Acadomi, starting JANUARY 2027, we are growing our organization and providing hands-on training, mentorships and growth opportunities within our company. Recent Graduate candidates will work full-time with seasoned recruiters and account executives to gain a foundation for the IT industry – from best recruiting practices to account management. After completing the program in our headquartered office in Atlanta, you will hit the market in either our Atlanta, Charlotte, DC, or Dallas office.

Responsibilities:

What does a Technical Recruiter do for Optomi?

• Use various job platforms to search for and reach out to qualified candidates passively/actively looking for employment in the market
• Conduct phone interviews to assess candidate’s technical experience to see if they are a match for job opening
• Format resume/submittal package to highlight candidate’s top skills for client to review
• Prepare candidate for phone and in-person interviews by having in-depth conversations surrounding questions, scenarios and technical experience that may be asked by client
• Work closely with Account Executive to negotiate pay rates for both consultant and client
• meetings, coffees, etc. to ensure they are happy and successful in their new role.
• Meet minimum weekly metrics including phone interviews/submittals to open jobs
