Job summary

Optomi invites recent graduates to join the Acadomi program starting September 2026. You will train for three months with senior recruiters and account executives to build a strong IT recruiting foundation, working toward placement in Atlanta, Charlotte, DC, Detroit, or Dallas offices.

After completing the program, you will be placed in one of Optomi’s offices, and you will continue growing in recruiting and account management with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of professional experience – training provided.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Through the Acadomi program, starting September 2026, we are growing our organization and providing hands‑on training, mentorship, and growth opportunities within our company. Recent graduates will work full‑time with seasoned recruiters and account executives to gain a foundation for the IT industry – from best recruiting practices to account management. After completing the program, you will be placed in one of our Atlanta, Charlotte, DC, Detroit, or Dallas offices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 3‑month training program with experienced recruiters and account executives to boost your career in IT recruiting.
• Work closely with a team lead to perfect your skills in sourcing, interviewing, and submitting candidates.
• Gain experience in cold calling, interacting, and prospecting new business.
• Build a foundation for Optomi’s recruiting and sales process to eventually move into a Technical Recruiter role.

What Does a Technical Recruiter Do for Optomi?

• Use various job platforms to search for and reach out to qualified candidates passively or actively looking for employment.
• Conduct phone interviews to assess a candidate’s technical experience and determine fit for job openings.
• Format resume and submittal packages to highlight a candidate’s top skills for client review.
• Prepare candidates for phone and in‑person interviews by discussing potential questions, scenarios, and technical experience.
• Work closely with an account executive to negotiate pay rates for consultants and clients.
• Meet with recruiters for meetings, coffees, etc., to ensure they are happy and successful in their new role.
• Meet minimum weekly metrics, including phone interviews and submittals for open jobs.
