Agile is seeking a high-performing agency recruiter to join its professional staffing team and recruit primarily across information technology, engineering, and manufacturing. This is a true agency-style split-desk recruiting position in which the recruiter focuses on candidate delivery while partnering with Agile’s sales and account management team on client requirements. The desk is expected to be approximately 70% IT overall, but the individual recruiter’s focus can be tailored based on experience and strengths, including the ability to specialize heavily or entirely in IT or manufacturing.
Agile is flexible on years of experience. While this position can accommodate an established mid-to-senior-level recruiter, we are equally interested in a standout recruiter with 2+ years of agency experience who can demonstrate strong production, recruiting ability, and the potential to perform at a high level.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire positions across IT, engineering, and manufacturing.
- Partner with account managers and sales professionals to understand client requirements, hiring priorities, and candidate profiles.
- Develop sourcing strategies and build pipelines for difficult-to-fill professional and technical positions.
- Source candidates through recruiting platforms, professional networks, referrals, databases, direct outreach, and other recruiting channels.
- Conduct candidate screens to evaluate technical qualifications, career history, compensation expectations, motivation, work authorization, and overall fit.
- Present opportunities effectively and manage candidate expectations throughout the recruiting process.
- Prepare qualified candidates for client submission and provide accurate, relevant candidate information to the account management team.
- Manage candidates through interviews, offers, acceptance, onboarding, and start.
- Maintain long-term candidate relationships and develop referral networks within assigned specialties.
- Consistently manage multiple active searches while prioritizing positions based on client urgency and likelihood of placement.
- Maintain accurate recruiting activity, candidate status, and placement information within the company’s recruiting systems.
- Develop sufficient understanding of technical and professional positions to effectively identify, qualify, and differentiate strong candidates.
- Use recruiting technology and AI-enabled tools to improve sourcing efficiency, candidate evaluation, and overall productivity.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of agency staffing or recruiting experience, with flexibility for candidates whose demonstrated performance significantly outweighs total years of experience.
- Professional recruiting experience that includes technology, engineering, manufacturing, or a combination of these disciplines, with meaningful exposure to technical positions.
- Demonstrated ability to independently source, engage, qualify, and close professional candidates.
- Track record of measurable recruiting performance, such as gross margin production, placements, quota attainment, awards, rankings, President’s Club recognition, promotions, or comparable results.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong information technology recruiting experience, particularly across software development, infrastructure, cloud, data, cybersecurity, ERP, or other professional IT disciplines.
- Engineering or manufacturing recruiting experience, including positions within mechanical, electrical, industrial, manufacturing, quality, controls, automation, or related disciplines.
- Experience working in a split-desk agency staffing model and partnering closely with account managers or business development professionals.
- Demonstrated history of strong individual gross margin production.
- Experience recruiting across multiple employment models, including contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire.
- Consistent history of exceeding recruiting goals, earning production-based recognition, or ranking among the stronger performers within a staffing organization.
