Job summary

Government Recruitment Service invites applications for a Technical Quality Coach - Commercial to join the Vehicle Services Quality Centre of Excellence. You will help maintain high standards in statutory heavy-vehicle testing, working with DVSA partners, ATFs, presenters and testers to deliver fair, accurate outcomes.

You will coach and mentor colleagues, drive continuous improvement, analyse data for risks and opportunities, and support appeals, inspections and site suitability activities,

Responsibilities

Deliver quality assurance checks across the Commercial Vehicle Testing scheme to ensure compliance with DVSA standards, policies and operating instructions.
Provide coaching, mentoring and technical support to improve testing quality, consistency and competency.
Analyse quality and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Support appeals, complaints investigations, technical inspections and site suitability activities.
Support the authorisation, review and ongoing suitability of Authorised Testing Facilities (ATFs), providing technical assurance and recommendations to support service delivery.
Contribute to the Quality Centre of Excellence by promoting continuous improvement and service excellence.
