Job summary

KMRG, LLC is hiring a Technical Publications Specialist to support the United States Capitol Police (USCP), Office of Information Systems (OIS), Information Resources Management Division (IRMD). You will prepare, edit, maintain, and publish technical documents, manuals, guides, training materials, reports, and internal procedural documentation while coordinating with subject matter experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of technical writing and desktop publishing experience
• Experience coordinating with subject matter experts (SMEs)
• Experience coordinating document review, revision, routing, publishing, and approvals
• Experience working with a Document Workflow System

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and maintain technical documents, manuals, guides, training materials, reports, and procedural documentation
• Review and update technical content to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Organize and format information for publication and distribution
• Support document publishing processes and final review materials
• Coordinate document review and approvals with stakeholders
• Maintain document files and versions across projects
• Interface with the Document Workflow System for routing and sign-offs
• Ensure content reflects source information and operational requirements
• Prepare materials for government review
• Deliver documentation in Microsoft Office or PDF formats
