Job summary

Kaeser Compressors, Inc. in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Technical Projects Engineer to plan, coordinate and manage engineered projects in an industrial setting.

You will collaborate with System Design, Engineering and other Technical groups to address project needs, emphasize cost reduction and risk mitigation, and develop metrics and milestones for progress. Requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering, strong English communication, and experience with Office tools; SAP and CAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; SAP experience preferred.
• 2+ years customer service experience (preferred).
• CAD/ Solid Edge knowledge (preferred).
• 1 year of data analysis and project management skills.
• Basic writing/editing of technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Support the Technical Projects group in planning, coordinating, executing, and managing engineered projects and accomplishing stated project objectives.
• Collaborate with System Design and Engineering and other Technical groups to address engineered project needs.
• Work to maintain project progress with emphasis on cost reduction, maximizing benefits, and reducing risk of missing goals.
• Develop and implement project management guidelines, standards, tools, and benchmarks for engineered projects.
• Review projects and create reports, metrics, and milestones for engineered projects.
• Perform site audits to identify potential improvements.
