Job summary

Roof Penetration Housing, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Technical Projects Engineer to serve as the Director of Engineering's principal technical advisor and project leader.

You will drive cross-functional initiatives across design, FEA, testing, manufacturing, and quality to keep strategic programs aligned with company objectives and deliver results on time. You will act as the Director's technical representative, identify risks, and lead technical decision-making while ensuring execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5 years of strong mechanical engineering fundamentals across multiple disciplines (design, FEA, testing, manufacturing).
• Systems thinker capable of understanding interactions across engineering functions.
• Excellent communicator able to translate technical issues for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering initiatives across multiple disciplines from definition through implementation.
• Act as the Director of Engineering's technical representative in meetings and reviews.
• Coordinate technical activities between Design, FEA, Testing, Applications, Commercialization, Manufacturing and Quality.
• Provide concise, technically focused project status updates and communicate risks early.
