Job summary

Roof Penetration Housing (RPH) is expanding its engineering team in New Jersey. The Simulation Analysis Engineer will perform FEM-based simulations to evaluate product performance under real-world loads, temperatures, and dynamic conditions.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering and is Hybrid, with 3 days in the New Jersey office and 2 days remote. Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background, strong CAD/3D modeling skills, and 5+ years of engineering experience in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, structural, or related engineering field.
• Experience performing finite element analyses and simulations.
• Strong understanding of mechanics of materials and structural behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine 3D simulation models from CAD geometry.
• Perform structural, thermal, dynamic, fatigue, and nonlinear analysis.
• Define loads, material properties, and boundary conditions for studies.
• Evaluate stress, deflection, stability, vibration, and failure modes.
• Interpret results and identify design risks or performance limits.
• Recommend design improvements for strength, durability, and manufacturability.
• Support prototype development and validation testing.
• Correlate simulation results with physical test data and field performance.
• Prepare technical reports and analysis summaries.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and QA teams.
