Job summary

Canviz Consulting in Kirkland, WA seeks an experienced technical project manager to lead complex technology projects, including SharePoint and other web platforms. You will collaborate with offshore development teams, manage schedules, deliverables, budgets, and risk, and mentor junior PMs while evolving internal PM methodologies.

Strong communication and writing skills are required, along with a proven track record of delivering projects on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology project experience.
• 2+ years of IT project management with structured methodology.
• Clear understanding of web application development principles.
• Experience using Visual Studio Team Foundation Server for triage and tracking.
• Proficient in MS Project to track schedule, dependencies and resources.
• Strong business writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex technology projects through lifecycle to completion.
• Define and drive project schedule, deliverables, and scope.
• Provide excellent customer service to the client.
• Facilitate bug triage and track issue resolution and acceptance.
• Manage intake and planning meetings for requirements gathering.
• Oversee multiple project responsibilities across teams and resources.
• Provide status reports on schedule, scope, and budget.
• Collaborate to develop synergies across touch points.
• Evolve PM methodologies and best practices.
• Mentor and coach new PMs on the program.
